  1. It is about the money. Diabetes is a business and nobody profits from a cure. I’m tired of hearing about a CURE too. That isn’t going to happen. So GO TAKE A HIKE for the JDRF. It’s good exercise but not much more than that.

  2. HEY … I’m a diabetic too. And if you go to the JDRF website you will see this is not about YOU. Working on a Cure and Finding a Cure are two different things. What do you want from the JRDF anyways? Money? Why so negative? Get involved and quit complaining about who is not helping you … you could probably be a big help to the organization.

  3. HEY,,, I’m a diabetic and the JDRF walks have done nothing for me. Why not just send the money to me directly? Nobody will ever mass market a cure because it isn’t good for business. What part of that don’t you understand?

  4. Unfortunately, there is a lot of misunderstanding about Type 1. I was originally diagnosed as a Type 1. After I questioned “why” and “how” and had my insulin levels tested, the doctors apologized and re-classifed me as Type 2.

  5. JDRF Walk for diabetes is great. Not only will it make people aware of this condition but also raise funds for research that will find help for the diabetics.

  12. I agree — good video, nice humor. And, humor is important when fighting a serious disease. The good news is that we have the intellect to beat this disease and others …
