Natalie, thanks! Just to let you know, I stumbled upon your video by google first of all by typing in sugar addiction. that led me to you tube in which I joined, so here I found you. Your video is so informative, interesting, and helpful. I just wanted you to know by watching this video, I didn’t grab my usual cinnamon roll with icing. I chose something low glycemic… At least I made a concious choice, even for this one time. Your going to be a national success!

I have type 1 diabetes in my family and the funny thing is that it strikes at adult age! My mother got it at the age of 50+! So , not all type 1 diabetics are born with it or even got at a very young age.

Nice video. I’ve been thinking a lot about sugar lately and now I plan to check all the nutritional facts on what I consume.

Excellent video! I often still wonder if humans would be better off if Purina made Human Chow like they do Monkey Chow. Perhaps a bowlful with a bowl of water every day would be sufficient. I guess if they were to lock us up in cages like zoo animals it would come to that. I could also surmise that the humans in cages would be a lot more healthier. Do you think mankind would come to that? A perfectly healthy extremely balanced meal plan for everyone.

I feel so totally lost by the massive advertising that’s is done by the food industry and also the so called scientific research given by universities that have ties to the food industry that there isn’t any proven way to figure out what the real truth is? It would be nice to know who to believe. You can’t rely on the FDA anymore because they have a political agenda as well. I guess I’ll have to rely on Natalie for the Truth! Thank goodness someone cares.

why don’t you do a video talking about not only junk food but about the truth about how food in general is messed with- pasteurisation, the inhumane and unhigenic ways meat is killed and processed…if people know about all the crap in their food it might encourage them to buy whole food

Good luck, she’s right, I gave up sugar for Lent one year and you have to read the labels on everything you eat.

I’m a sugar addict and i’ve known about it since I was 10. My parent was an alcholic and sugar addict and it seems it has had its effect on myself. I’ve been doing the potatoes for prozacs stuff and I reccomend it. Don’t try to cut the sugar out immediately- it hurts like hell. Good luck to all other sugar addicts out there- do some research and be patient about the steps to curing the illness! I’m 15.

I agree that sounds pretty stupid to me. Send her to certified clinical nutrition, CCN.

I’d like to see a video on how to not get bored with the same fruits and veggies…..some people only like a limiting amount or just certain kinds of fruits and veggies.
some people only like carrots, some people only like strawberries or just green apples, etc.
