I’m very frustrated… I take very good care of myself and eat right yet I’m tired all the time. Ive been to doctor after doctor and test after test one thing showed up was I tested positive for Epstein Barr virus but they said it was from a past infection ..not current and not what is causing my fatigue. So here i am doing no drugs, drinking purified water,no caffeine not much junk food ,exercise, taken all kinds of thing supposed to be healthy for me yet im still tired so bad I cannot even work

I like this a lot. So many people think the responsibility of their health lies with their doctor. It lies with ourselves.

Love this guy.

“Never used sugar in anything for some reason.” doesn’t work fo everybody. Sometimes, sugar (swallowing simple sugar) is necessary.

Learn the basics of nutrition and start eating healthily. Once your body gets used to healthy food, when you try eting unhealthy food, your body knows immediately and tells you not to do it. You need enough information to understnds the lnaguage of the body, i.e. what kind of good is healhty food, etc. So, you need to learn that first and foremost. May be go take a class about Nurtition. Without knowing the basic information about Nutrition, watching these videos is pointless.

As if doctors didn’t know this? In most obese persons with type 2 diabetes, a balanced weight-reduction diet restores tissue responsiveness to insulin and correct the metabolic derangements. Unfortunately, far from all patients comply with such cruel and unreasonabel treatment why drugs are often required.

Sure, keep watching all our nutrition videos. “soft drink challenge”, “Hungry? Hunger Control”, “How to feel like crap”, “top 10 worse foods” “the truth about sugar”.
Just keep watching, the answers are in the video. We get emails all the time from people that watched the videos and followed them and lost weight.

this has inspired me to research about hypoglycemia.. i always feel tired, as soon as i get off the bed, then i get cravings for fatty oily foods, and i just sit at the computer or watch tv. now i’m not sure what to do about this or how to get over it…it has taken over my life, i’m not working or going to school, i haven’t accomplished anything in my life, i just keep getting fatter and fatter, does the team of psychetruth or anyone else reading my comment have any suggestions?

You are a hell of a cool doc (even though you tend to explain basical common-sense things sometimes, you sound like talking to a kid when you do this… what’s the background sound in the middle of the video?)
Comment by nesseline — March 28, 2007 @ 12:25 am
Right, he’s talking about Type2 Diabetes, not Type1, as you described. Type2 diabetes is often due to poor lifestyle choices and modifiable risk factors.

Never used sugar in anything for some reason.
I keep thinking of a girl I was sitting
with who kept tearing open four bags at a
time.
Comment by realnoid — March 30, 2007 @ 10:38 pm
Although he fails to mention it, i think hes targeting the folks which do not originally have diabetes and then get it by not caring about their health.

great job doc . thanks
Comment by oldcrone66 — April 2, 2007 @ 2:25 am
not all diabetics did that to themselves. my friend has been like that since she was small and would die without the insulin.
